I’m reading Eldon Auker’s baseball book. A lot of it is around the Detroit Tigers of the mid 30s. He refers to the Tiger Special in his book - a train set up by the Michigan Central Railroad to transport them around the country when they were in the heart of the pennant race. There’s no picture in the book. I would love to find a pic of it.
