Tiger I Late Metal Roadwheels

Gentlemen,
this picture shows the position of the Late Steel Roadwheels on a Tiger I. You can all see that the setup of the wheels is quite different from the Early Rubber Roadwheels. The positioning with Steel Roadwheels is much easier than the Rubber roadwheels. First set : 2 wheels close to eachother. Next set : 2 wheels further away from eachother and the inside of these wheels overlapping the first set. The wheels of the first set seems to be bolted together but you can clearly see with the green marking lines in the picture that the rims of the wheels do NOT touch eachother. See also green arrow. There is a certain distance between both wheels. My guess is there would be a spacer or a flange between the wheel rims to keep a well calibrated distance for all the wheels in such a specific position. My question is : does anybody of you know this visible distance between 2 ā€œ bolted together ā€œ wheels ? I guess such a dimension should have been part of the Maintenance Manual of the Tiger I , no ?

Thanks a lot , Mr Byrden. Will help me a lot when finishing my Late Metal wheels for my Tiger I. And I’m planning to maintain exactly 1/16 of that 40mm gap between the wheels. In the mean time I found another interesting picture in the walkaround of MBK at the Tiger - in Overhaul at saumur :
