Trumpeter M19 Tank Transporter

I have the Load a Sherman Tank, I’ve just received the Hard Top M19. The question maybe basic but I would like to make the canopy on the back of the truck, would someone like to give me ideas/tips on how to make this canopy please?
Ideas much appreciated
Chris

Hi
On the FB group for the Diamond T, the same has issue has just been posted! He used a cut down plastic bottle (wide bottom end) to cover the rear ballast body - genius idea. It provides an end at the same time. if cut in half vertically too, and exact fit in 1/35th !

See here: Diamond T in Scale | Facebook

The Magazine Military Trucks Archive has an issue on the Diamond T. In that it has this:

With the close up of the notation:

Given that all the pics of curved ones I have seen are on vehicles in British service, this seems to be supported E.g. Where they get the idea for the box art with curved tarp is from a pic with the Chaffee’s English cousin on the trailer…

similar.

and post war British:

In fact, there are more pics of a squared off type than curved.

and on the soft top

Whichever way you chosse to go, I hope it works out for you.
