TAKOM shows CAD drawings of their upcoming kits.
Of all the variants available Takom manages to release the ones I already have a Dragon version of.
Has anyone built one of these Takom 250s? Takom models look nice in the box but usually come with one or two significant problems.
Not yet (I have the “/1”) but I have built other kits and I agree there is at least one fit issue at some point on every one I have built.
Now I think by the time I get around to my Dragon’s 250/8, Takom will have released their own version, ha-ha.
According to the Wiki, the 250/4 never entered serial production but a few prototypes were built. After doing some reading, I suspect the Takom “250/4” is a best guess at the field modified (?) 250 shown in Picture 2 above, not a model of a factory designed (?) 250/4 prototype.
Anyone an expert on the 250/4?
Having just looked at my Dragon 250/1 and Takom 250/1, the Takom model is significantly more refined, includes more details, includes the engine, and comes with some really nice stowage tarps. They build up in a similar way.
The takom kit is quite nice with only a few small problems.
