Nice. But unfortunaltely not my scale. I Hope they will do this stuff in 1/48. My Super Station will love IT

These look very nice and are my scale. I really like teh seated/gunners and Y pilots. I may have to get a set for the Academy Y.

Agreed, that kneeling gunner set up with the minigun, ammo chute, & ammo box sells it for me, but I don’t need another project… because I would need to add the pilots, too. Which are fantastic in their own right.
I did contemplate a two Huey build with a Y against a C to use the MRC huey gunship in the stash.

These models are strictly for personal use, but it looks like R2 Miniatures can’t read license agreements. They altered the handgrips and brass chute slightly to represent a different version, but all the other details match exactly. There’s a small error in my 3D model that’s also present in these screen shots (see below), so I’m absolutely certain it’s my model.
There’s a screenshot on their Facebook page in which you can see how they grafted new bits onto my existing brass chute:
Now here’s the real smoking gun. In my model, one of the rivets/screws on the control unit had a small Boolean operation error and turned out as a dimple (the bottom one in the picture):
And lo and behold, R2’s model has the exact same error:
So yeah, do with that information as you will, but I have lost all respect for R2. **** these guys.

Just ordered the Venom Pilots for the Academy Model, the Gunners and the Viper Pilots. Looking forward to get them.
