I like it! Thanks for sharing!

Did you take any in-progress pictures? I’m sure that I’d enjoy seeing any of those that you might have taken. Looks like you did a lot of scratch-building on the structures and other base features.

Very well done!

What an outstanding diorama. All aspects are very well done. The only slight criticism is not your fault - which company produced the elephants correctly got the two domed head and the ear shape right, but the tusks are far too large for an Asian. Otherwise, another great dio from you,

Yes, I shared pictures at an other thread. I think it was the “Feedback" thread.

The male elephant is from Paracel.

The female one, was printed from a work colleague.

Really well done!

You should try contacting FineScaleModeler or one of the overseas modeling magazines and enter an article or two about your Vietnam-era dioramas. I’m sure those magazine editors are always looking for fresh content and your photos are definitely print quality.

Thanks a lot.

I’m not sure, my dios are good enough for scalemodel magazines. Maybe the landscape, but not the figures.

Outstanding Christian! Enjoy studying all the details over and over.

You’ve really nailed the overall look of the structure and walkways, looks very realistic.

That is a very impressive diorama with all those little (sub) stories and details. I love it.

That looks amazing.

Anything goes with modeling magazines. If the editor wants you to write about the landscape, or the water, or how to buy the kits, or the diorama’s history…”anything goes.” Give it a try; you don’t have to write about the entire diorama, maybe just the best parts.
