What, are we talking single/double cabs? Highroof panels? Ambulance with full interior?
Actually, unrelated to the VW van. But another wheeled vehicle that should make Cold War US Army fans happy.
A non vacu-formed GrenzTrabi would be most welcome. But I doubt that’s it.
As pointed, AK has a couple of lovely surprises coming in just a few days. Started the project nearly four years back but other kits got priority, so is a great feeling to see these finally in the market. Stay tuned and get your Nato colours ready. In fact, get all your colours ready because there’s much more in the pipeline…

Thank you. I had no idea.
Over the years, decades actually, I’ve learned that companies make whatever they want although they’re willing to entertain suggestions.
If AK Interactive can make 1/35 plastic model kits, why not make modern 1/35 SOF pickups? @18bravo said that the MENG Toyota HiLux was NOT used in Afghanistan and that the US SOFs use Toyota Tacoma pickups as Technicals. There are no 1/35 modern Tacoma pickups on the market, and MENG stopped their line of pickup trucks.
Long Black is simply a coffee.
I just can say: patience. There are many projects running and who knows…
CUCV by chance?
Just to be clear. It was not used by ODAs for patrolling at the time because we had the Tacomas. Our AMF dudes used them extensively on missions with us. But all of the builds you see with Toyotas sporting X wing antennae with SF dudes on the gun are bogus. (including a couple of 1/25 builds I did many moons ago.)
There were a few instances where we used unarmed Hilixes as NAVs, but that was in Iraq.
SF Tacoma. Master Box based their figures on these AMF dudes, many of whom were former Muj.

AMF Hilux - No antenna, no gun:
Yes, we really could use a HILUX, but as it’s not Cold war, that won’t be the offering. It was a great truck. I did ride in them for purposes other than combat missions. The solid axle suspension was actually better than that of the Tacoma.
Thanks, @18bravo for the info.
Any chance that we will get single and double cab pickups?
How about other versions of the Land Rover? LWB and S3
Good guess!
It’s official now:
I have mind powers! I hope for a CUCV Blazer myself.
When i was in the Army we called the pickup version a pickup and the Blazer version the CUCV.
Very!
