I'd like to present some of my recent work: Dodge wc 63 and Buffalo water trailer. Wc 63 is from AFV label, and Water Buffalo is an oldie Italeri. You can also notice the generator from Miniart and some other gear.Ofcourse it's 1:35 scale. The scene scratch built is hypothetical place in Sicilly .Enjoy. Greg Kostulski.
Nice looking build. Although on a historical note I doubt that anyone was wearing a M1941 Field Jacket during the Sicilian Campaign in the summer of 1943.
As on uniforms as from 1941 the US gearde up to produce all kinds of war materials. Maybe the combat units were issued with the latest equipment but that doe not neccessarely be the case with second line units tasked for supplying the combat troops and as well per order there may have been a different dresscode per unit. But that’s speculation I wasn’t there. My point is that whether a garment is worn may differ than from what we already know or presume to be the case. Black and white photo,s of the period have also ther limitations. As war progressed or better said time on the front progressed it was not unusual for small units or even individuals to tweek their equipment or augment it with different stuff to keep out cold or rain or wind. Thank you all and this dio is very very good
