What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

They look great. I’ll try and post a pic of one of the MMK ones tomorrow, showing how “round” they are.

I started a Tamiya 1/35 R35 the other day. The finished kit is around 3: by 5". So far, it is a really nice build. Even nicer than their M51 Israeli Sherman.

Got the interior of the PACV all sorted.

Unfortunately ended up with a bit of a granular surface with the Navy grey paint- didn’t notice it was laying down like that until I went back to it the next day!

Theses are the MMK ones, not great. Wonder if theyre malleable?

I have them as well. They are solid. But they come with great dry transfers. He even sent me extra ones.

A little more progress on the Allison powered Mustang AG633 2025 build. Flaps and controls in place with much clean up ahead.

Here’s a real life photo from Iraq. Sometimes it’s not the thing you’re taking a picture of, but the thing behind it…

Your picture above of the collapsed blivets was what I wanted to see, spot on of a drained bladder :face_with_hand_over_mouth:, thanks for following up with that, I wish the MMKs were hollow cast, cool, you are fount of infinite knowledge :mortar_board:

Given the amount of detail in HL’s M125 engine bay, I’m thinking I’ll pose a vehicle mechanic on the front bumper/winch deck, trying to identify the cause of the rig’s breakdown.

Chose this guy tonight.

Finally finished! :slightly_smiling_face:

All paints from Revell. Took me 2 months to build this kit. A bit too long for just 1 model for me, but it takes the time it needs. First model show next weekend.
The company Auto-Dienst West still exists but meanwhile with slightly other trucks …

Trying to finish this. I put it aside a while back because of those tiny cable clamps, finally got them done, except for the microscopic ones on the thinner cable on the boom, no way man, lol

Finally finished off my Mercedes VK170 as a line/telegraph repair vehicle of the German 711 Infantry Division on D Day.

Forward on the Tarhe. The most cumbersome kit I ever attempted. Really need some kind of jig cause every time you try and set it on one side or another to do anything something wants to snap off.

Is it one of those kits where you can’t hold off on attaching some of those fiddly bits until later on?

Now when I get a kit I take stock of all the fragile outer bits to see what if any I can wait until the absolute end to stick on and I have managed to slow my hair loss.

On the last stretch to complete my Sexton interior. This is for the D-Day group build. Gauges here are hand painted. Note: Click on the pics twice to enlarge them on screen to about 2.5X.

@Damraska . Doug, re your thread on painting small lens, etc. The gauges here were painted the way I posted in your thread - very thin paint and fine point brush.
