I doubt I’ll make Abingdon Brian having just got back from a weekend in Oxford. 3 hours each way from down here in deepest Dorset!

Roger that Terry; the A34 does suck the life out of one!

It certainly does! This weekend it was closed from the A415 (Abingdon turn off) north, so involved some interesting but tedious detours out to the west, then discovering that anything coming in from due West of Oxford was met with complete road closure into the centre!
