What is the best circle template to spray road wheels?

Just checking in to see if anyone has a favorite that covers a huge variety of sizes. I mostly do American and German armor World War II to present. thank you.

Here’s the one I use,it was recommended here years ago, they are not perfect, sometimes you can’t get an exact fit and you get some overspray, and if your doing a lot of wheels at once you need to frequently clean the hole or you get paint on the rubber part, but if patient they get the job done

There’s no real difference or advantage, you just want the ones that are thin plastic (I think vinyl). The size progression is close enough that you can fit almost anything in 1/35. It looks better to go too big than too small if a wheel falls between two circles. With normal weathering you’ll never notice.

These templates are cheap, so buy several identical ones - that way you can paint a bunch of wheels at the same time!

I use frisket paper and a circle cutter and make a template for each model. It only takes minutes to make and is a perfect fit.
