and also those other planes:
Couple of parcels arrived.
Someone (looking in the mirror) set a theme for our club for the big show at Telford 2026 of “In Italian service” so well I jumped in with both feet. First two heavy tomes;
And on a roll with Italian aircraft;
Just arrived and still on an Italian theme I made use of my Bunny club and Black Friday discount.
I just love the look of Italian aircraft!
Especially the last generation in the form of the FIAT G.55, Macchi C.205 and Reggiane Re.2005.
I have the last two but the G.55 is proving to be elusive
The Re 2005 is beautiful!
One of my Black Friday orders arrived. A Do-217 and something to mask all that glass!!
@phantom_phanatic so far it’s the only Huma kit I’m trying. I don’t remember it having any fit problems or anything. The plastic is thick. They had nice settle fabric detail on the surface.
Over the years I’ve acquired several more of their kits like the Junkers 388, the gyra plane and I think that I even have their helicopter,
I gave myself another treat from my club and I also have italian 109 to build (2 eduard kits from the gustav and royal class combo)
Those Eduard P-39 are from the 1990’s but with some extra TLC they can still be build into some decent Cobras, Aurélien. I have the same kit in my stash and have built one of them up to date. Don’t forget the balance weight! It’s not included.
I plan to do those 2 P-39 Airacobra of A.L. Kozhevnikov, 212 giap, 22 giad
A small box of supplies for my growing 1/48 Italian air force.
Yes there’s marking for an Italian F-51 on that decal sheet and the Haitian one looks interesting as well ![]()
I would go for the J26 … ![]()
Hermosos…¡ Excelente elección
Me encantaría ver una mesa de trabajo de este kit…¡
Will do this one in the new year. There was talk of a Spanish Civil War build campaign next year, so we’ll see if it happens.
Had KP’s Spitfire Vb land today. Bought on a whim as it was going cheap on eBay. Bit of a gamble as I wasn’t quite sure what was going to arrive!
Pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Detailing and parts look good, bit of flash but nothing serious. Some spare parts for alternative versions too. Three types of prop and spinner, exhausts, tropical filters and slipper tank. I’m not sure if this is their own tooling or a rebox. The proof of course will be in the build, but it looks promising. I may have found just the kit I need for all those Malta Spitfires I want to do!
Stephen the newer KP kits are very nice but the older ones can be a bit so so, don’t forget the new tool IBG kits although a little bit more expensive.
