Why I can clear a little space I’ll make a start. I’m not entirely sure why Airfix had them on such a limited release. One year and they were gone. They only ever reissued the B.6 a couple of times. They did the same with the 1/72 versions of the B.8 and PR.9. Came and went out of the catalogue very quickly.
They did make a mistake with the placement of the second crew position on the PR.9, but if you built them buttoned up it largely solved it.
This Me 262 double seater arrived at my door yesterday together with the Airfix Saracen just to get over the minimum order value. One kit for a far, far away future …
Well a few months since I have brought any models, what with moving home so a return to my favourite scale while my eyes still work. Together with some flo paint for another project.
That Kawanishi flying boat looks interesting. I might have a look for one myself. I still want to do that Airfix Boeing Clipper in the wartime colours, so this would be a good companion to it. Already have a pre-made Emily and that’s a decent size at 1/144!
Life has been far too busy lately renovating a bathroom by myself before our second kiddo arrives, but not too busy for collecting! Some kits I have acquired over the last two months or so! I will add the AH-6 soon as well. The two ICM bombers look beautiful in the box.
The Seahawk was an impulse buy, I don’t know much about them but I do love Navy birds. was $30 at sprue brothers after a sale and store credit.
The Corsair came from China on ebay,no tariff, fast shipping and better then any price in the states, looks great in the box,if it builds like their Booker,it should be great.
The supplies are my 1st order from Hobbylinc, they had the Squadron paint which has the correct color for a late war Corsair.
