I have never really used Photo etch before the one time I did I quickly got in way over my head. So I look forward to hopefully starting one at some point when the room and space issue sorts its self.

Oh that’s a relief … with their tanks they go overboard with sprues and insane detailing.
Will you start it next year ?

I wonder how is this Duke Hawkins F-14 book compared to the Daco F-14A/B/D book. It is 160 pages plus full foldout drawings in 1/72 & 1/48.
Can you post some photos of the pages? TIA.

The Duke Hawkins F-14 does not have foldout drawings. It has 220 pages full of colour pictures. I’ll try to make some pics.

Got this guy for $10, no idea why the La5/7s are hard to find.
This one was easy to find but a little bit more than $10.

This one just arrived.
This one was a Christmas present.
They look beautiful in the boxes. Still need the FW190A-6, Spitfire, and maybe the Kate. Two new ones were announced on January 2 but they can wait.
Intend to build these soon. Hoping not to botch the crazy difficult paint schemes too badly.
Edit: The secret toy surprise in my 109 included decals for a plane with rockets, two turned metal rockets, and a resin wounded pilot.

Thanks for the photos Phil. Looks like I’ll be adding another Tomcat book into ever growing library.
