I hear there is an appropriate campaign…
Well the postman knocked twice!
Some bits and bobs, think I’ve developed a liking for East German items!
Panzer Art 3D printed BMP-1 early tracks
Today I picked up a set of UAZ-469 wheels, 3D printed by Venko @Venko:
4 sagged wheels, 2 spare wheels and a set of 4 door handles. All looking top notch.
Well done, Venko!

I like to know your thoughts on those BMP tracks when you get to using them.
Will do Sean, the BMP is almost built just a few things to add then I’ll get to paint and the tracks. Just need to push the T-72 past the finish line first once I get a day off from work.
You can never go wrong with GDR NVA! But beware, it is highly addictive!
Is any of those kits less than 40 years old?
(And it reminds me that I have a book that’s even older than that, about modelling French aircraft using almost nothing but those Heller kits.)
The most recent are from the end of the 70’
I’ve just got hold of 5 of the original Matchbox models, plus some partially built old Tamiya kits which I shall use to hone my skills on. Unfortunately next doors Father passed away but they knew I was into modelling so they were donated to me.
Received this title in the mail today from my good friend Fred Boucher, a.k.a. JPTRR, to read and review for Casemate Publishers and Pen & Sword Books.
Time for a couple of oldies to arrive and fill a couple of gaps, plus another set of tracks as I found the tracks easy to work with.
The SA-9 kits need some attention, it is pretty simple done.
It’s been a while since I last bought any armour, but heard a lot of good things about Airfix Austin Ambulance. So thought, let’s give it a bash.
Parts look nice on the sprues. Couple of ejection pin marks on the cab interior. Luckily on flat surfaces so not difficult to deal with. Just annoying on a modern kit.
Will definitely be doing it in the desert colours!
