That should make it easier for him to build as well.
As far as I can tell it’s the exact same kit in a new box with different colour plastic.
That was a test. You passed! (Yeah, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!)
Ok thanks
A couple kits from Andy’s and one from Scale hobbyist. 2 Kittys and a Grouch!
Believe it or not, my first two panther variants
After a couple months of internal debate, I decided to purchase a third M1 Abrams.
For someone like me, building an accurate M1 is truly hopeless. Rather than sacrifice a good M1 model to Clio, I decided to gain some experience building this first. Three things pushed me over the top. First, I found a very old document buried in a Missing Linx archive describing how to fix the turret. Second, I discovered my Rye Field M1A2 TUSK includes an extra set of hard plastic road wheel caps. Third, I found some very nice builds of this model. It can be done.
Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed a problem. I do not have the right diameter of plastic tube for making new road wheel caps. If I can solve that issue quickly via Amazon or my spare parts box, this will be my next model.
I had a lot of problems with those tracks,
the plastic pins are too fragile and they tend to break easily. (50% brake..)
I’m currently building a Trumpy PT-76, easy, simply kit. No issues, no problems.
I decided to take a little break from the Bradley project…
again, the secret box…
couldn’t resist, dry build in one evening. Very rare car, there are only 3 photos online.
The postman didn’t bring these, but my son visiting from out of town did. My son goes to estate sales and he found these for me at one of them.
Yes, I have a good son.
I used that same info from the missing linx article to fix mine. Very helpful
Is that the release from the 1970s?
Every one of those bring back good memories for me. I’d be glad to have any of them. In fact, I probably have half of those kits now.
Yes still the same release from the 70’s and still on the shelves today for under £20. Considering it’s going to be the base for a major conversion I couldn’t justify paying out for either a Takom or Meng kit as all I need is the hull, engine deck and some of the fittings.
