The tariff itself is very small. It’s all the fees for processing etc that FedEx, DHL et al add on that you get nailed on. Never again.

There is an episode of Deep Space 9 in which a trade representative from the Gamma Quadrant meets with Captain Sisko to report his people are pulling out of their trade agreement with the Federation. When Sisko asks why, the trade representative says the cargo inspection fees, tariffs, taxes, and other charges reduce their profit to near zero so it is not worth their effort to continue trading with the Federation. It is then revealed the Federation is using Ferengi as intermediaries…

I’m very curious about the half track book; I’m thinking about doing a diorama with a couple of FAMOs and even though I have two or three books on them I’d like to get more pics of them in action.

These newer Academy kits are really nice, I’d venture to say their M1A2 13298 and 13504 kits are the best available.

I went and took a look to see what the book has and there is a chapter dedicated to the Famo. However, there are only six black and white pictures of the Famo and eight left side profile color illustrations. One of the photos is a famous one taken at the Meppen training grounds, four of the photographs are of Famos in stationary/static display type photos and one of a Famo 9/1 heavy lifting crane lifting the turret off of a Panzer III.

Nothing from the postman, but I did run to the local brick and mortar hobby shop today and picked up a few things that I was in need of.
It is nice having a local shop and not having to rely on ordering everything online. And as you can see…it is an actual brick and mortar shop.
