WIP: Hasegawa Me-262A

Greetings all!

I’m an armor guy; but now that I’ve nearly completed my most recent project I’m gonna take on an aircraft, just to kind of mix it up a little.

I’m planning to start on the 1/32 Hasegawa Me-262A kit. I know it’s a little dated; but it’s what I’ve got!

I’ve got an AM cockpit and the decal sheet to paint it as Green 1. I like the nice, angular paint lines (and it’s simple to mask!). I’m looking for an AM gunbay too. Anyone know a good (reasonably priced) one?

Be gentle with me! This is my first aircraft in about 40 years!

While not my thing, I couldn’t find a gun bay set in 1/32.

Yeah, this one has been in my stash for about 20 years. I seem to remember seeing one on eBay then; but haven’t checked recently. I’m wanting to model the gunbay open and do some detail work; but you know about the best laid plans of mice and men! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This will be my first time using 3D printed parts!

These are R4M rockets to replace the sticks that came with the kit!
