WOLF SSA Neverland Hobby 1:35

Can you compare that kit with Revel Wolf (short wheel base, soft top)?
up until recently that was the only game in town, and i acquired Azimut conversion to LWB.
Thanks

@Dan -I used Olive Drab Humbrol Spray. In my opinion, there is no point in buying replacement parts at this stage. DEF model offers wheels in two variants – one of them is the same as in the model (except that it is made of resin). LIAM offers radiators with the Mercedes logo (not included in the model), a front bumper, wheels and, I think, some kind of roof structure (I can’t remember).

@iguanac -The SSA is a longer version of the Mercedes than the Revell model. In terms of quality, it is a superbly made model – incomparable, although the Revell model is not too bad either. I have a conversion kit for the Panhard VPS (Azimut), but somehow I cannot bring myself to do it.

The DEF kit also includes a radiator.

Neverland Hobby has it too. I see no reason to pay for an element that is included in the base model and is 99% invisible anyway.

That’s a nice looking build.

Just for completion’ sake, MAD-Modellbau also do a conversion kit for the Revell Wolf - to make the longer wheelbase version that is.

I have one - as yet not tackled - but it looks quite useful; my plan being to depict one of the BRIXMIS (military mission operating in East Germany) G-Wagens - eventually.

Apropos of nothing else, but the Neverland Wolf is (a page in) almost a Tamiya box shaker. Fit this far is impeccable.

Are those Multicam decals on the figures?

It’s not a decal – it’s painted with brushes.

I’d say before, so this can be their LCC.
If it were after there would be beer.
