WWII Japanese Tank (semi-circular) Antennas?

Building a Japanese Type 47 “command” tank > Malaya / Singapore campaign late 41/early 42.

Question: The Type 47 and other Japanese tanks with radios of this period often had a semi-circular antenna. Was this antenna painted (along with the rest of the tank) or was it left bare metal (steel, copper, or brass)?

Would appreciate a color pic if anyone has one.

Thanks!

Steve

Did find this one pic which seems to show the antenna as brass or copper…that seem right?

Really hard to distinguish the black and white photos. But this time we shall believe in research of Japanese more for it’s about their history. I think the frame are painted like the other places, but the antenna are in light brown paint(not uncovered)
