Yeovil IPMS show 24th Oct

Just wondered who from these corridors of knowledge will be attending the show ?
I am definitely going and hope to get there about 11ish as I am travelling up from just outside Newquay …

Would be great to say Hi over a brew.

Imps or IPMS? I hope there is a difference …

Edit: Johnny corrected the typo in the title/subject so my post has become somewhat cryptic :innocent:

Imps is not a bad organization, they are just short on membership.

Haha … Today is not my day … Think it’s safer to go and walk the dogs lol

John - standby! Though I’ve nothing especially new since Avon - my modelling mojo seems to have gone AWOL recently. 'Hopefully the show will rejuvenate!

See you there; I’ll be there with my modelling mate Pete Smith within the guise of Stonehenge Modellers.

Excellent, will see you there :+1:

Very good…very good!

Take a lot of photos please

Looking forward to actually going to my first show tomorrow. Will hopefully get a good few images to post here, and anyone else who goes is more than welcome to upload show images in this thread to save making another.

Just got back from Yeovil. And straight off the bat I have to admit to an epic fail… Not one image taken… Please hear me out…
Took the wife and 2 dogs with me as SWMBO was meeting her daughter at a country park there to walk the dogs … All good so far… After a road closure on route and various diversions around and about … we eventually arrived at said park. Got dogs ready and off I go…
Only to find when I went to pay to get in, I had picked the wife’s mobile up instead of mine ( both have same leather covers :frowning:) and she keeps hers PIN locked and I just could not remember the code… Gutted…she did have £30 in there though, which she doesn’t now lol …so all I did was by a few paints, brushes, micro sol and set and masking tape and glues…

I did finally get to hook up with Brian @BootsDMS and his mate on the Stone Henge table, and between them they had a very impressive array of various armour pieces which were top class and an pleasure to look at, and they did look superb Brian :+1::+1:

The whole event was very good and well laid out with what looked like a good amount of footfall and general turnout.
There were a great number clubs and some outstanding builds covering all types of genre’s from land to space.

Hopefully Brian will be able to post a link to pictures his mate took as I did explain my predicament with the lack of camera… Fingers crossed.

Thanks John - great to tie-up at long last and glad you enjoyed our display; your comments are much appreciated.

As soon as Pete has downloaded his pics and I have the link I’ll post it here. Not a bad little show I thought and well worth the effort in getting there - God knows we need such shows at the moment!
