Saw this on news this a.m. and impressed by it. I have met and talked to several WW2 vets but never when I had a video device handy. A few others I didn’t know of their story until they had passed. Wish I had captured those various stories on video. For a year I flew with a 5th Air Force C-47 pilot who told me stories, one of which how he was left seat in the lead plane that dropped on Corregidor.
