Zimmerit on tiger 1 1943 early production

would the tiger 1 1943 initial production ever be equipped with zimmerit?
I know that the inital prod didnt come with zimmerit from the factory but would the crew ever apply it in the field?

A very small number had it applied in-field or if returned to a depot for major repairs.

thats good to know, I think zimmerit adds alot of life and detail to the tank but i still want it to be somewhat historically accurate
