Thanks! But I hope Zvezda will produce one in plastic too, beside the 1/43
ZIL-130 in 1/35 scale in flatbed version already exists in two different modifications
as well as a dump truck.
Thanks! I will look for these.
Zvezda is producing a 1/35 scale Zil-130 as well. But the AVD kits are excellent and they have five kits so far, the early and late cargo trucks and late MMZ-555 dump truck as seen above, as well as the early MMZ-555 and late MMZ-4502 dump truck.
They are nicely molded kits, I have one. Someone and probably it was Yuri mentioned they may have been molded by Zvezda.
Well I have the Zvezda 3711 WC - 54 Ambulance kit in my hands now, and it is nothing short of miraculous. The 50 year wait for this kit is over! The molding, detail, and engineering of this kit are exquisite. Even the grille guard is close to PE thinness in molding; it is totally useable. I have the Quinta set for this, and that might be all I need. This is definitely going toward the top of the queue.
"Have a nice weekend everyone!
We have prepared a selection of news for you about our new model of the Soviet supersonic airliner Tu-144 in 1/144 scale!
First of all, we have heard your comments and prepared several new photos of the test assembly!
This model is made in the landing position. And this is only one of three assembly options!"
"We continue the story about our upcoming new product, the Tu-144 in 1/144 scale!
The second version of the model is the takeoff configuration!
The front wing and elevons have been released.
We show photos of the test assembly, this time unpainted.
By the way, the model is balanced and stands on the chassis without a load in the nose!"
Echo that!
"The final portion of news on the Tu-144 in 1/144!
We show the painting scheme and application of technical inscriptions.
The decal will depict the aircraft with the tail number USSR-77110. It carried out regular passenger transportation in 1977-78, was a participant in the XXXII International Air Show in Le Bourget in 1977, receiving the exhibition number 345.
In 1984, after the end of operation, the aircraft was transferred to the Ulyanovsk Museum of Civil Aviation, where it is located to this day."
“Friends!
Our new model of the Soviet supersonic passenger airliner Tu-144 in 1/144 scale will go on sale any day now!
The final touch - the box of the new product!”
Beautiful plane! Pity the Soviets learned the same lesson the West eventually did - there was just no way a supersonic passenger service could be run at break-even, let alone profit…
"Hello everyone!
We continue to tell about our new products!
In the works - a model of the Airbus A330-200 airliner in 1/144.
We present 3D renderings for your judgment.
The model provides two versions - with Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney engines."
I hope for a A330 neo at some point
Going to do markings for an RCAF CC-330 Husky?
build it as a KC-30
"Hello everyone!
1/35 fans are a bit bored. We are happy to share news about the ZIL-130 truck model in 1/35 scale!
3D renders of the new product are ready! A completely new development of our company. The model will provide for assembly with an open and closed hood."
It’s great that Zvezda is tackling a civilian Russian truck (although ZIS-130 were seen with ZSU-23 mounted…) but given how good the AVD kits are, I wish they would have started with something else, perhaps a GAZ-63.
A very nice model. When can I buy it?
I would be very interested in this model.
