Friends, a small update on the decal sheet for the Soviet La-5 fighter in 1/72 scale.
After publishing the decal sheet layout and paint schemes, thanks to your comments and contacts with search engines, new information was obtained on Stepan Ivanovich Kharchenko’s aircraft.
In 2020, the wreckage of the aircraft was found near the village of Polyudovo in the Kaluga Region. It was determined that it was La-5 aircraft #37211214 with engine #65021987.
In those years, the aircraft number was linked to the last two digits of the serial number. Accordingly, the correct number is 14. In the photo of the aircraft, the number is not visible due to the people in the frame.
Based on this information, we have modified the decal sheet layout and paint scheme.

This year, our “Heroes of Victory” series has been expanded with two new kits.
Each kit features a unique, specially printed figure: a tank crewman in 1:35 scale (in the IS-2 kit) and a pilot in 1:48 scale (in the Yak-7B kit), along with an additional decal sheet to recreate the hero’s specific combat vehicle.
These models are now available for pre-order!
