A friend of mine who is looking to get into civilian airliners asked me about a couple of Zvezda kits, but since I have no experience with Zvezda kits I figured I’d ask you guys.
The first kit is the Tupolev Tu-204-100:
And the second kit is the Boeing 747-8:
Any thoughts on these kits? Are the any good? The photos on the Website look pretty good, but then they always do!

Although I can’t answer your question specifically, I have other airliner kits by Zvezda (737-800 and 787-9) and they are superb, really good, with excellent shape and fit. So is their new 1/72 C-130 Hercules.
I think Zvezda my be one of the only model kit manufacturers to get the shape of a Boeing airliner’s nose and cockpit windows right. Roden is the other with their Boeing 720.
