I’m a 64 year old, in February returned modeller after a huge cockup in July 2022 left me crippled and unable to do much at all.
This although limited by pain allows me to do something other than read or watch tv.
I’m waiting for a 5th surgery which will hopefully fix me up, but also has the potential to take my leg or my life. Still if it’s just the leg will be able to do any pants needing a one legged pirate without much effort😂
Children have fled the nest so it’s just me, the wife and the 4 dogs.

I don’t specialise in my subjects I build what takes my fancy. I have cataracts developing in my eyes and rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and fingers, so no kits smaller than 1/48.
I also like big kits so I’ve got some whoppers n my small but eclectic stash.
I used to be a petrol head in a car club with my
Jag, but with covid and my leg I haven’t worked since March 2020 and the car had to go, shame it was something I’d worked dam hard to achieve but needs must. I haven’t driven for 18 months anyway.
