Thanks to the tireless efforts of 3D modelers, we obtained 1:144 scale 3D-printed models of these two new armored vehicles just one month after their official release. Upon inspection, we found exceptionally crisp details, functional artillery elevation mechanisms, and even interchangeable sensor modules on the turret tops that can be switched between deployed and stowed positions. In the photos above, I’ve already applied primer to both models.
I’m planning to paint these in a striking yellow digital camouflage pattern, which will be a perfect opportunity to test the new 1/144-scale digital camouflage masking sheets I recently acquired.
Oh , Jim99, U R the lucky one!
Can you prepare some kind of tutorial regarding painting in this small scale, please? Thank you very much!
No problem
The good news is that the bleaching paper worked well. The bad news is that the final color result turned out too strange and looked completely different from when I was mixing the color. It seems I need to add more yellow next time.
Thank you very much! They look nice. What about to try some color filters?
Sorry, but what exactly is bleeching paper? Is it some kind of paper, used for baking? Or is it self- adhesive paper? If not how it was fixed on surface of models? And all that shapes - did you draw them, or is it some kind of pre-cut stenciles?
It is a self-adhesive tape with pre-cut digital shapes, so the pieces can be lifted with tweezers and applied directly.
Ah yes, that “replacement” of stencils, which you mentioed in one of your previous messages. Test pieces, which you have got? Not in shops these days?
Yes, these are test masking stickers sent by a friend. They should be available for purchase later.
Very nice and attractive: Focal point in every collection. Very attractive!
Superb! And crew again!!
