1/35 Ammunition for Russian D-30 122mm Howitzer

I’m currently completing a SKIF 1/35 D-30 122mm Howitzer. Can anyone confirm whether the Mini Art set 35068 122mm ammunition and/or SKIF’s 503 ammunition supply are correct for this model?

Thanks

Terry

I guess you should go with SKIF #503 set. AFAIK, the Mini Art one is for WW2 ammo rounds.

MiniArt does a really nice set of 122mm Ammo. It is light-years better than the old Skif set.

I agree but the crates and markings in the Mini Art set are WW2 ones…

Here’s a D-30 ammo crate (3D render)

Thanks both. I realised after I posted that the Miniart set, whilst excellent, is for WWII. So I probably need to search out a SKIF set!

Some variation in style and color:

Thanks Kurt. Interesting set up there for a diorama!

That’s a tough kit, almost got it completed as well. Skif’s ammo kit is bad. Maybe ok just for the boxes. Miniart has a much better version.

The SKIF D-30 is indeed a challenge! I realise Miniart ammunition is much better, but does anyone know if the WWII 122mm ammunition provided in the Miniart kit is the same as used on the D-30’s?
