1/35 apocalypse tank border model

I think this is the right forum for this….i had to step away from my other projects cause i was getting into my own head a little too deep so i figured i let loose a little bit. I don’t have any progress pics but here is the finished product…. Hope it came out good… i did do a little scratch building

It certainly did come out good! I like the worn effect you have gone for with the various paints. The wear and chipping on the green gives a pleasingly ‘used’ look to the whole thing while the various red bits grab the attention. The turret markings add a nice bit of color and interest to the front part. The various bits and bobs like ammo crates etc that you have added work well- and they are suitably weathered with the rest of the vehicle, just like those slightly rusty exhausts and fuel drums. Good to see plenty of mud on it too- particularly around the front where the clumps of mud show up well on the dozer blade.

Very nice paint on this. I esp like the dozer blades.

WOW, what an eye catcher and something really unique. It must be a pretty large 1/35 model tank.

Great job!

You guys are awesome! Thanks for the comments!

The ak splatter effects definitely carried most of the work. It is awesome to work with and you can also add other pigments as well… for the barrels and engines i used heavy chipping effects.

That looks like good stuff- certainly makes for realistic looking mud. By the way- the red stripe up the barrels and the six squares of red toward the turret are fantastic!
