1:35 Diorama WW2 PTO: Dead end

This time not a nam dio, but still a jungle dio.
US Marines with a tank on patrol in the jungle on some pacific island. But they took a wrong turn somewhere and now the tank is stuck in a dead end. The driver is little confused, but the marines still go ahead and climb up the hill.
Tank is the old Italeri Kit, the figure from HobbyFan and Masterbox.
The trees are old roots with stuff from railway modeling. The bamboo is plastic stuff, the big ones are selfmade from plastic straws. The ground stuff, leafs and more, are dry spices like basil and parsley.

Thank you.
You’ re right. They are some aquarium plants, correct. But I bought them not in a pet store, because there are too expensive there. In germany, we have a lot 1€ stores like your 1$ shops. In this shop you can find deko stuff like big gras mats for 2-3 €. And you have 100 plants for this price. Scalemodelles saw the world around with different eyes.
And some plastic plants are from Diorama World and from Temu.

Good looking diorama.

Except for terrain, Marines used the M3 beehive round to effectively punch holes through the jungle.

The foliage in this one is great. I want to hide a Tyrannosaurus in there. Scary to think there might be bad guys hidden in that undergrowth, ready to launch an ambush.
