As a sidenote, the degination PSB 2 or Panzerschnellbrücke 2 is wrong. The PSB 2 was a prototype that failed. The model should be designated Panzerschnellbrücke Leguan…

Just a word of caution. A friend of mine who knows the Brückenlegepanzer says that the kit is simply crap! Given a probable MRSP of 100 USD/EUR it would require the same money to buy a correction kit if one comes out.

In which way, are you able to expand on this, please? I’m keen on the kit, even if it represents a prototype vehicle.

Hi Kylie,
as you may know LEGUAN in service about a year or so. I hardly believe that HB had access to the real track. It is confirmed that HB used a resin kit as “master” and there was only on resin kit of the LEGUAN.

This walkaround contains pics of the serial vehicle, so you might see for yourself.
Main areas to be incorrect are:

  • Missing APU on engine deck.
  • Missing heavy front skirts
  • Missing bellyarmor.
  • several details wrong on the upper hull.
The friend who told me is the author of LEGUAN book published by Tankograd. A shame that HB missed the chance of making a correct kit. I think that Andreas Kirchhoff will second me.

There are also some videos on youtube of the vehicle:

If you mix the bridging system with an Abrams hull, you can build the M104 Wolverine.

LEGUAN was also tested by Swiss Army.

If the guys at HB are clever, They can “milk” the kit to the last. Making Swiss, Swedish and Finnish versions willl make three times sales.

I wonder if they’ll do a UAE Pantsir with the MAN cab/chassis??

UAE MAN truck is a HX model. This will require a whole new kit, no components of the Folgegeneration trucks can be used.
