1/35 │ KAMAZ MTP-A2 Technical Support Vehicle │ Miniarm + Zvezda

Dear All,

After a short break, I’m making a transition from ARV vehicles to something a bit lighter. :innocent:

I hadn’t built a Kamaz before, but then I came across this great-looking conversion set from Miniarm.

I haven’t had a lot of time to research it, but I’ve jumped into this project with the GEMO (Good Enough Move On) mindset.:clinking_beer_mugs: I’ll be learning as I go, so I’m very open to references! In fact, seeing the versions with white cabins makes me think a multi-colored version might be an option..

An interesting topic. I have not seen this vehicle, let alone this model. Good luck, I will be following this as well.

All very cool. Let’s see how you get on with it. The base Zvezda kit is VERY good. Will be following.

Have you been able to source any instructions for the Miniarm conversion? I’m sure with the reference photos many of the parts will be obvious, but given the number of pieces, it would be nice if Miniarm could include instructions, or at least post some on their website.

Same for me, but I bought kit from Hobbyeasy, I told them the situation and they immediately sent it as a PDF version..

I’m happy with the result. The Miniarm kit is really nice, the details and everything, but like with every resin model, straightening and aligning it with a heat gun took a bit of time

The assembly of the undercarriage was completed at a slow pace. :innocent: Next up is satin varnish and a bit of a wash. :crossed_fingers:
