Hi Guys,The trumpeter M142 was so bad .Last week,I finally finished it,this renovation took a lot of time,It’s really a big project
Love the build and detailing in that cab … superb.
Absolutely wonderful. And besides the vehicle, I do love your work on the figure… the camouflage uniform looks spot on.
Well done!
Mario
The scorching around the launcher face looks great !
A lot of effort put in this built. It looks great.
Very well done, love the added detail.
Missed that the first time … thats very nice
It came out great. Nice job.
Outstanding detail and beautiful paintwork! When you say the kit is bad, do you mean because of the lack of detail, or because of bad fit? I just got this kit so I’m more than a bit interested.
Out of the box, the kit is closer to the prototype, not the fielded version. The lines of the cab are off and the bolts are in the wrong places, and the shape of the lower door openings are off too. Also, some of the boxes along the frame and on the launcher where changed in the production version. The interior is missing a lot as well, namely the middle chair and everything on the back wall. The front bumper is an older style too.
For corrections, the newer bumper is available in the Legend M1078 Late Conversion Set (LF1303).
Many of the other external changes (boxes and such), including the new bumper, are covered by the Tetra Model Works M142 HIMARS Detail Set (ME35076). I don’t think it includes any of the interior upgrades/corrections though. It also costs almost as much as the kit.
The vehicle and the figure - wow!
So it’s currently the best situation that I can do,Even with a new model suite
Thats LRD 35006 Very nice decales
Fantastic job! Amazing detailing on the interior and great finish! And your figure is excellent as well.
Excellent model! Thanks for sharring
Looks very realistic and has nice weathering and burn mark touches that other modelers normally ignore. Great job!
Very well done. Your hard work shows, I know how much was missing. I like the correct antenna as well.
you think the army would standarized the armored cabs with the HImars and FMTV
