Thanks guys!
Painted up the M79 this morning. The barrel and all metal parts were painted black while the wooden area were treated with buff. Once that was dry I applied multiple coats of Vallejo brown wash over the buff to get a wood grain effect. The metal parts were then treated with graphite powder.
Looks petty good me thinks.
