In the manual pictures I have they show switching out the blade for the grinding wheel, so that is most likely it. Here it shows how to install the adapter.
As you can tell from Frenchy’s and other’s pictures all the plows weren’t set up exactly alike. Differences in armor and numbering and paint jobs with different units. Wayne

Australians used D8s, as far as I know. Hobby Link makes kits of them. I always thought this would go good with the plows being refueled. Wayne

Yes indeed, one modeler built and posted an M548 that was very well done and almost matched your photo to a “T”, 2023 post if I’m not mistaken.

Not sure if that’s 62nd or 92nd trailer. I know we hauled for 62nd when they were short of trucks. They were based right up the hill from us at Long Binh. Wayne
