I have here a sandbag that measures 30 cm by 60 cm or 1 foot by two feet. Perhaps someone can check with the parts when he purchases them?

I started printing these today. So far they look good. I had a couple of print failures but that could be my user error. I’m new to 3D printing.

Here is a couple of pictures next to a 1/35 ruler.

More later …..

Did you print them with an FDM printer?

Hi Tom, I printed these with a Bambu Lab A1 Mini - a spool printer using a .4mm nozzle. I may try the .2mm nozzle later…… I’m new to 3D printing.

Thanks mate for the detailed info! Just to set expectations clearly: our 1/35 files are designed for resin/SLA printing only. On FDM (even with a smaller nozzle) the fine fabric folds, seams and edges get smoothed out and the presupported files will 100% fail— so we can’t recommend or support FDM for these files

I think it´s about time that someone published the “ultimate” sandbag book. This could be an interesting research project.
