1/35 Zvezda BMD-1 Finished

After a month hiatus from modeling to move to a new state I was able to get back to the work bench and complete this beaut! It took about a week and a half to build and another week to paint and weather. I used ammo Mig acrylics starting with a base coat of Russian green base, for highlights I used the base with a 2/10 drops of sandgelb and for the shadows I used the base with 3/10 drops of red brown. The filter was master touch burnt umber with lighter fluid mix and the streaking effects were white, ochre, yellow and ivory black master touch oil paints.

Great job! How was the build?

@Invader the build wasn’t horrible. For an older kit it went together quiet easily. The only issues i had with it was when it came to the rear stowage boxes. Had to look at a few pictures before i placed them because the directions were a bit vague. There were a few fit issues but nothing some putty couldn’t fix.
