Love it. Any more pics.?

Looking good there. I think even little bases can make a finished kit stand out a bit more.

Congratulations!
You guys capable of building such full scratch built models always amaze me.

Olivier

I missed this earlier; what a fantastic little model and the base just sets it off fine.

Thank you all for the encouragement.
However soon after completion I learned from fellow Irish modellers of a forthcoming 1/35th kit :grimacing:and just after I was about to spray my 1/35th Austin Mk IV news came of the MiniArt kit :persevere:.
So I am 3/4 of the way through a Post-War Irish Army Landsverk L-180,anyone have news of one of them on the horizon before I return to my bench. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Hi there

I am keen to make one of these for a friend in Ireland who served with the UN in Lebanon.

Would you be willing to answer some questions?

If so here goes:
I presume you made the body from styrene sheets?
Did you use plans?
How did you do the turret?
What tyres did you use? Are they from another kit?
Same for Jerry cans?

Any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks heaps
Steve

Happy to help. I think I’ve seen your name on the IPMS Ireland Facebook page. It might be easier if you want to contact me through that. There’s a lot of local knowledge on that site.
Regards
Paddy

Thanks Paddy I have now subscribed to the IPMS Ireland FB page.
