Who makes the most accurate 1/48th F16 fighting falcon?
folks seem to be content with the tamiya
Which version and block are you looking for? Tamiya does not cover all variants of the F-16 in 1/48.

Tamiya’s are great builds.
Also Kinetic’s Gold Series are also very good.
You just need to decide which variant you want to build
I’ve built a couple of the Hasegawa kits and they go together very well.

I was planning on doing the version of the F16 with the red, white and blue, paint scheme. I assume that it is the F-16a version. Is that correct?
I think the 50th anniversary bird was a C block 50
Yeah depends on if you want to do the original bird, which was a YF-16 iirc, or the modern demo bird painted in those same colors, which is a C Block 50.

The old Tamiya #61022 is a YF-16 ,if you can find it.
