At the end of last month, I completed a 1:72 scale modern Chinese soldier set launched by the 3D printing brand Xiao Yang Shifu. I first tested China’s latest camouflage pattern on a machine gunner, then painted three tank soldiers. However, I still feel it’s quite challenging to accurately replicate this camouflage pattern at this scale.
Impressive what can be achieved at such a fine scale
You’ve done a great job in such a small scale- the various uniform details and equipment are really well picked out.

Thank you, 3D printing offers excellent model details.
Great painting with that cam.
Thank you, Johnny. By the way, with your earlier help, I have finished assembling the 1/72 scale Academy BATUS Challenger 1. I replaced some of the original plastic parts with 3D printed components, including the smoke grenade launchers and the mesh racks on the sides of the turret. I also added some custom-made details. Finally, I incorporated some of Black Dog’s resin stowage products onto it. I’ll make a separate post to talk about it later.
Look forward to it.
It’s such a faithful rendition. I really love it.

Thank you very much for the details, Jim.
I could never get camo like that replicated in 1/35; i caqnnot even begin to imagine the leve of finesse required for 1/72. My compliments, @Jim99 you sir, are a master.
