1/72 Sova-M BB-19 Boomin Beaver

A interesting ship. This is my monthly club build night project so updates will be slow. I also got a CMK Gato crew figures.

Last month, I have attached to the two halves and some sanding. More sanding is needed. The deck is press fitted.

Does this model include the details below the water line as well?

Yes, a fair amount of detail. Some might be better to replace with tube/rod styrene then to clean up. We will see. In the first photo, far upper left is the cage.

Oh ok, that’s what that obelisk looking part thing is.

May guess is the engine/transmission area. It’s all a small space.

At 1/72 it’s a small model. I’m guessing the oval part of the boat in the picture with the figures up there is approx 3" long.

Just a hair over 3” long and about 1.5”’ wide for the hull. Kit lists 81mm for the length.

Made some small progress, too much time yaking.

The fit of the deck in the hull is much better now.

No real progress last night expect was able to pick up some fine filter screen to improve the pe option.

Those red drops of bloo…paint look interesting :drop_of_blood: :drop_of_blood:

I agree the bl…paint looks interesting. To my knowledge that is not mine. As a community mat, don’t know who or when that was spilled but probably from a gamer.

I dunno about boomin’ but it’s sure as hell screamin’ for a McQue anti-gravity job…

Cheers,

Looks like a bathtub toy for an Olympic sized pool! Or Theodore the Tugboat.

Last night I was able to remove the plastic for the exhaust screens at the build night. Did some more work tonight, needs even a little more taken out. Starting glueing the cabin pieces together.

Little more work.
