Looks like an interesting book. I have several of their titles in this series. I only have one beef and that is that photographs of young SS panzergrenadiers in Normandy are almost always described as belonging to “HJ”, whereas there were five other SS units in Normandy, all of whom contained youngsters (most of the rank and file of 9,10 & 17SS were 18, likewise the replacements in “Das Reich” and “Leibstandarte”). In fact, two of the pictures referred to in the review are known to depict members of 9SS “Hohenstaufen”, namely the one of the Sdkfz251 with PzB41 towing the PAK40 and the burning transport which belonged to the Bakery company of SS Wirtshafts Abt 9, the first truck can be seen to be towing a baker’s oven.
