1959 Ambulance In Canada?

Was this model used in Ontario in the 1960’s? And are all ambulances run by the government or are there private ambulances as well?

What model? Gotta put photos so the rest of the world knows what is in your head.

Town I lived in, in New Hampshire , Ambulance and Funeral Home were the same company. Conflict of interests?

As best as I can recall, ambulances from the late 60’s (I would have been too young in the early 60’s to notice or care) were “standard issue” - cab upfront, big box in the back.

I am almost positive that there were no private ambulance services in Ontario in the 60’s.

Isn’t that a rework of the Ghostbusters Ecto 1/1A?

Those kits often got reworked as hearses or Gothmobiles/ Vampire Wagons…
