i was in basic at Ft Knox in 83 till i found out i had bad knees
Have you looked at ultracast? They are Canadian and have many commonwealth figures in relaxed poses
That gave me all the wrong associations
Yes there is lots of relaxed poses that isn’t the issue. I can’t seem to find any in combat poses, on the move, shooting, etc.
Oops lol! I read that backwards. Yes agree more in action would be better
Not to steal the thunder, but Panama hats are made in Ecuador, in Montecristi. Literally down the road from my house in Manta. There’s a big statue of a woman weaving one in a traditional manner outside the city.

T92?
A new MBT-70 or Pigg XM803 (Dragon is a Kpz.70) in 1/35
A proper T28 Super Heavy Tank (the current 1/35 is too boxy, and as a result looks more pyramidal)
I suspect that if anyone does the MBT-70, it will be Takom; however, and I know I’m sounding like a broken record here, if you really want a decent MBT-70, try the Commander Models one. Trust me:
Commander Models makes great stuff. But folks are still averse to resin kits. Some of those same folks though, will happily built a 3D printed kit, complete with all of the little striations still on the parts. For many, not all, 3D kits, you get all of the pleasures of a resin kit, with all of the imperfections to go with it.
That’s very true - re the 3D kits.
The point is, about which I suppose I should be more eloquent, is that I found the Commander kit to be quite easy to build; I think it was only my second venture into resin and once I’d steeled myself for the task, turned out to be relatively simple. Fit was pretty good. A few details needed to be added (mine was really a What-if as I envisaged it in service, but I did not (arguably) go overboard.
Tracks had to be found from AFV Club, but that was really that, despite the unforgiving nature of Superglue, and that of (I think - memory is a little hazy her) the hatches being moulded as closed.
Yes: I Volunteer with The Collection. I’ll be there tomorrow.
@18bravo and @BootsDMS : thanks! I’ve lost my fear of resin, and sort or like the methodology. I won’t hold my breath for either, but That Commanders looks fab!
Well, thanks Ted. As I’m sure you’re aware it’s the only game in town at the moment for a US version. I added a couple of stowage boxes, the Driver’s TV monitor (the angular thing on the glacis, a tow rope, and that was about it. I utilised a metal barrel but the kit one was good enough.
I’ve shown this off more than I should on the site but just to close:
I’m moving my prediction up to soon this year. Very soon.
that will be neat hoping it will come to pass.

More things with wings in 1/35 . If I had a Time Machine I would go back and make the first 1/35 vehicle in 1/32 instead - then we would not have all this silliness -
I dove into the Dragon Kpz.70 (1:35) at a price that was too good to refuse. We’ll see if your inspiration can help me make an MBT-70!
Well, good luck; you’ll have to later the hull considerably though, but then, I’m no scratch-builder. I have the Dragon version in the stash, but I’d always planned to make one as a Bundeswehr in-service version, so essentially, a “What-If”.
I’ve posted these before so you may well have seen them; comparisons between the Commander Models MBT-70 and the Dragon Kpz-70:

Thanks
I can see the contributions to the shape of the Abrams everywhere!
