Yeah. I know. We’re barely halfway through 2026.
But even if the good idea fairy sprinkled magic dust in their morning juk today, the producers still couldn’t get a new kit out by the end of the year. In fact the last one I worked on took almost exactly one year.
I won’t make any predictions here, so as not to give to give the impression, right or wrong, that those things are in the pipeline. But I will say, of the four 1/35 projects I’m involved in, two will definitely be mind boggling. And let’s not confine this thread to armor, or even a scale. People are listening.
But unlike in another recent thread, let’s try not to make this about you or your builds. Throwing this off track does not benefit the modeliing community. It only discourages producers from giving us what we want, as happened last week.
So, let’s hear it.
And this is not a prediction, and not something currently being worked on - just my personal wish - an updated 1/35 kit of the venerable M151 series.
All in 1/35 and plastic
Leopard 2A7HU
Leopard 2A8 and 2A8NO
CV90120
Type-625E
Australian Hawkei
Not a production vehicle but would still like to see one in 1/35. PEarson PEROCC
Oooooooh, put me down for one of those Type 625Es! ![]()

Meng released the Type-625E in 1/72 so hoping they scale it up to 1/35.
Feels like my Wishlist never changes
LAV 6.0 and variants
Earlier variant of the BV206
Bison APC and family(Trumpeter could easily do all the variants with the Stryker/LAV AVGP sprues they already have.)
A proper Sherman IIIAY/M4A2(76)W HVSS(Asuka could easily throw the correct spures together in a box)
Plastic Diehl 213 tracks
I guess I can add a proper, correct Joint Assault Bridge (JAB) kit. I don’t even know where my fixation with AVLBs and such comes from. ![]()

Yessuh!
A really good 1/35 Panther or Tiger! ![]()
I’d still like to see Airfix scale down the new Sepecat Jaguar to 1/72. Ideally with more choice of ordnance to hang under it, especially for the Gulf version.
Also hoping for their Anson to get the same treatment.
Would love a brand new range of Army Lynx and Westland Wildcats in 1/72. Don’t mind by who, as long as they do a good job.
Puma hc1 in 1/48, boxer 1/35 all variants, foden tractor/limber for FH 70 in1/35.
I would like it if someone started a series like Miniart did for the T-55 of the early T-34s (before the /85) or the T-62s. I like Zvezda’s versions of each, but there are so many more variants…
On a non-related note - did someone forget to pay a bill?
What does that even mean?
Man, this year has been so full already that it could fill out a decade!
To paraphrase Sam Neill (RIP) “I dream of a dull day with nothing in the news”.
In terms of wishlist, no change on my end: more 1/35 plastic civilian vehicles, especially construction, farming, and forestry.
A 1/35 M1074 JABS would be nice
