I already have the gun crew, purchased separately to use with someone else’s gun. BTW, what defines this version as “Late”. Is it the spoke design of the wheels? It also comes with three different rim designs it says, so were these produced along side each other or do they represent continuous development? By “Elite” they are referring to Waffen SS, this seems to be the “acceptable” way to refer to them nowadays and three of the marking options are indeed for SS units, “Langemark”, “Totenkopf” and “HJ”. The figures are wearing the M1944 Camouflaged (“Pea Pattern”) suit.
it is a mid PaK-40, while the one announced now is a late model. And the figures are different -although they have been previously available as a separate set
I’m currently building KM Models 1:35 Panzerjeager Fahrzeuge Somua MCG mit 7.5cm pak 40, The pak 40 it came with is really poor so I purchased one of the new miniart ones to supplement it.
Miniart’s offerings have a decent breach, carriage and cradle, and the gun sight it exceptional (maybe the best in the market) but the barrel is either too short or the scale of the model very much on the small side of 1:35. I also found their ammunition to have some issues.
I ended up purchasing Panzer Art’s 1:35 7.5cm pak 40 barrel and breach, and I’m sure it’s the best in the market. The project is coming along piece by piece.
Anyways, if one is building a scene with tamiya elements (figures/vehicles/accessories) I think the Miniart pak 40 fits ok. Anything else, and there seems to be some scale dimension issues.
