Well now, we’re not going to get far with a tailshaft that is too short one end are we?

Hasegawa P-47 sprue to the rescue!

The battery and heater core duct are the final accesories that need to be put in place.

The old girl is up on her feet tonight!

Rounding the final turn, the chequered flag is in sight!

Crossed the line last night! The great 2023 War on WIP is on track with #5 off the bench and on display!

Shiny new tailshaft

Battery and heater duct core

And off we go . . . . .

A quick photo shoot with older brother!

Now, what am I going to push through in the next 4 weeks?  :sunglasses:

D,
Now that’s thinking out of the box as the drive shaft looks perfect.

Congrats for getting #5 across the finish. Now that’s progress for sure.

Even I see the family resemblance of each of the brothers. Both are truly excellent builds.

:bulb: Very nicely solved

We’re back! I decided to rod up the El Camino a bit using the flame and scroll decals from the current '57 Convertible build. Decals went on last night, I will need to go over them again with softener, to get them to sit down in the door gaps, but so far they look great!

Wowers! Those flames are awesome !

D,
The El Camino looks great with those side flames. Adds just a touch of much needed color.
