Hi,
after a couple of years of a break due to the fact that the children were small and the need to move to a bigger house, I finally returned to modeling, which I am extremely pleased with I started right away with a diorama related to the 1939 September campaign in Poland.
Building made by myself. The tank is a 7TP from IBG
Nice build. Your 7TP looks fantastic. My wife is Polish and as such I have a great collection of WWII Polish tanks and tankettes in 1\35 scale. Many references, too. And a great fondness of perogies!
I love the 7TP for its camouflage. I think I will still make one someday, but in a twin-turret version. The tankettes look cool too, I saw one recently in the Museum of Armoured Weapons in Poznań
My 10 year old son has already started making dioramas too
And a great start… both the building and the tank look excellent and I really like the colours you have chosen. Real life has plenty of colours!
Good too see that your children are taking an interest as well. It was helping them with their products that got me back into the hobby a few years ago.
Very nice work. And bravo for going down the blue route for the house.
It’s easy to forget when looking at all those black and white photos that real life is colourful and people often choose to paint their homes in bright colours…
Too bad that the war with all it’s drab shades then comes to town (or village)!
