A break from my current project

While not strictly speaking kits, I’ve had a break from the German eight wheel armoured car for a couple of days and dug these out. They are two different jigsaws, one is titled “History of Tanks”, the other “World War II Tanks”. Something for everyone, see how many you can spot!

Those are going to take a hell of a lot of glue, filler and touching up…

Nice! Trust me to take the tangential but is that a purpose-built carry-case for jigsaws? Looks funky as long as the j/s fits – dimensions? And where did you get it?

SWMBO got me the the WW2 one a few years ago as a jokey xmas gift … it took me bloody ages to do… was an awful lot harder than I thought it would be … I had one side misaligned by about 2 pieces which I couldnt sus out for about a week as the wrong pieces fitted near perfectly :see_no_evil:

Yes, it is a carry case for the jigsaw so that it can be put away safely between stints on it (to keep the cat off!). We’ve had it for years, can’t remember where it came from, possibly Hobbycraft.

Yep, I had a similar problem (though I did get them both done in an intensive two days each). I tend to work from the edging in, but some of the pieces seemed to be straight edges but weren’t and vice-versa. In the end I just started on the tanks and this pulled them all together.
